The memorial service for the late Cote d’Ivoire player was held Tuesday in Beijing, China.
Tiote, who turned out for Chinese top division side Beijing Enterprises, collapsed in training and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital on 5th June.
His body will be repatriated back home in Cote d’Ivoire on Thursday for burial.
Tiote was 30-years-old. He was part of the triumphant Elephants squad, which bagged the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
