The Egyptian star man has been linked with move away from Anfield in the summer with suggestions of bids from Spain and France.
And now Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel reportedly wants Mohamed Salah and has urged the Chelsea board to test Liverpool’s resolve to keep the player.
With Jurgen Klopp’s side 6th in the Premier League and out of all cup competitions, the Egyptian is eyeing a summer move away from Liverpool.
According to the Athletic, there is no chance of Salah joining Chelsea this summer.
The report claims Liverpool are not interested in parting with their prized asset – particularly in a deal involving a domestic rival.
Salah joined Chelsea from Basel in January 2014 for £11million before eventually departing for Roma in 2016. A year later Liverpool paid £34m to bring him back to England.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds are not expecting to lose Salah or any other of their big-name players this summer and are preparing for life with the player who has topped their scoring charts for the last three full seasons on board.
He has scored 123 goals in 198 appearances for Liverpool.
