Millers Chemelil Sugar FC will on Thursday, January 7 kick off pre-season training at the Chemelil Complex ahead of the new Kenyan Premier League season in February.
Speaking to Soka25east.com, head Coach Francis Baraza said they will also be using the period to watch trialists before any possible deal is struck.
“We kick off our pre-season on Thursday 7, we want to get in shape before new season. We have players we would also want to monitor during the period if they have what it takes to join us.” He said.
The Awasi side lost their main striker Meshack Karani to Coast side Bandari FC, and are racing against time to find a suitable replacement.
Chemelil finished a dismal 13th in the 2015 season, a position they would want to improve on in the coming season. They commence their 2016 campaign at home against AFC Leopards on Saturday, February 21.
