Chicken Inn FC, Zimbabwe’s representatives in the ongoing CAF Champions League match has surprised it’s fans by availing two buses available at R700 for the return leg match against South Africa table toppers Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Gamecocks as they are know won the first leg by a solitary goal in Bulawayo and are already sharpening up for the return leg that will be played on 27th February in Johannesburg. The Bulawayo outfit beat another CAF representative Harare City 2-1 in a friendly match played at the Barbour fields stadium in readiness for the do or die clash.
Sundowns fine run where they have won their last six matches was slowed down by a goalless draw against Golden Arrows at the Lucas Moripe stadium in Atteridgeville, Pretoria with their lead at the top cut down . this was first time Sundowns failed to score in an ABSA premier League match this season.
According to the Chicken Inn management, the buses will leave Bulawayo for Johannesburg at 1700hours on 26th February thereafter leave Johannesburg on the match day at 2300 hours. The fans will pay R700 which will include a free entry to the stadium and a full pair of Chicken Inn replica.
Chicken Inn management believe they will have few fans supporting them in Johannesburg and that they have to ferry their fans as they did Sundowns when they played their first leg in Bulawayo.
The winner of the high octane clash will meet AC Leopards of Congo in the first round of the competitions later in March.
