City of Lusaka vs Konkola Blades
Woodlands Stadium
15:00hrs
Since winning at Shinde last Monday, City have drawn big headlines and all of a sudden that huge following of City Ya Moto looks to have been rejuvenated. But let the celebrations stop now because there is another encounter to pan out .
Konkola Blades could also be bubbling with confidence after beating Green Buffaloea at home making this a full time confident fixture and each team will think they have what it takes to get the three points.
Still, despite City’s resurgence, Elijah Chikwanda will fancy his side’s chances of mainatining winning ways. Chikwanda is likely to play two up front with Roy Sikwanda continuing after a good showing in Mufulira and this means very rare opportunity for one of the midfielders in Benjamin Makandauko.
Blades though are not an easy side to run over , but there are a side in far greater danger should they lose this one because the Blades fans seem to be counting this one as an obvious win. A point would do them nicely but this one will be tough for them as they will lose. Chikwanda looks to have drilled this City of Lusaka side with an attacking mind. Remember this is the coach who led Nkwazi to the final of Barclay’s Cup in 2015 against all odds and could he do it again with City of Lusaka? But he needs to start with a victory against Konkola Blades.
My Verdict: City of Lusaka 1-0 Konkola Blades
