The Zambia National Team’s preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers got underway on Friday afternoon when the first group of players reported to Nkoloma stadium to begin their training programme.
Coach Beston Chambeshi had the majority of the 30-member provisional squad that he has summoned for the first camp ahead of next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifier matches against Mauritania and Tunisia.
The team will be in camp for four days before regrouping for the long haul on August 15 ahead of an international training camp to be held either in Europe or Morocco.
Zambia will be away to Mauritania on September 1, 2021, before hosting Tunisia five days later at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Group B of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
