Chippa United chairman Siviwe Mpengesi has announced that they have finalized their swap deal with Orlando Pirates
As part of the agreement Chippa United three players Abel Mabaso,Linda Mntambo and Paseka Mako join Pirates while Thabo Matlaba,Thamsanqa Sangweni and Ghanaian winger Bernard Morrison all moving to the Eastern Cape side
The Chippa club boss also had some kind of words for Paseka Mako and Linda Mntambo who had joined the Chilli Boys from National First Division side Jomo Cosmos during January transfer window.
“I am pleased for Linda for a player of his age to achieve his dream to play for one of the country’s best teams.He was nothing but a true ambassador and an example to the younger players here and we wish him well”Mpengesi said
“We were aware about Mako talent talent before he joined us and he didn’t prove us wrong.He has a bright future ahead of him and I am delighted that we gave him a platform to showcase his talent”he added
Lastly Mpengesi welcomed the new arrival to the side, “We welcome them to the Chippa United Football club and we have no doubt that they will all enjoy their stay down in Port Elizabeth Sangweni is already familiar with the surroundings and we welcome back.We have no doubt that they are going to help strengthen the team and our ambition”he said
