Russia based Chipolopolo midfielder Chisamba
Lungu has been crowned Player of the Month at
Russian Premier League club FC Ural . This is according to a post on Chipolopolo Die hards. Facebook page.
Lungu who recently turned down a Chipolopolo call up was presented with a gift in the form of a balalaika by the Ural Fans. The Ural faithful had nothing short of praise for their hero:
“We respect and appreciate you and we want to give you this gift as a symbol of our Russian
mentality.”
Lungu thanked the fans for the gesture not
forgetting that he has extended his contract with the club for at least another two years.
“I’m not so good at playing the guitar but
however, i know that this is a traditional Russian
instrument.”
“I would like to thank all the fans for this valuable gift, and i promise i will try to polish up my skills during my spare time at home”
