City of Lusaka are staring relegation in the face and their predicament could be made worse when they meet defending Champions Zanaco in a must win week 29 fixture at Sunset Stadium on Sunday.
Despite having sacked head Hector Chilombo and his assistant Davy Musole ‘City Ya Moto’ have failed to shake off the relegation ghosts and look destined to go down into the second tier as they lie bottom of the log with 10 games to play.
Now under the tutelage of two experienced Italians, Roberto Landi and Guiseppe Macca, City will hope results come sooner rather than later but face a daunting task against Zanaco who themselves are counting on this fixture to get back to winning ways.
Numba Mumamba’s bankers surrendered the leadership of the FAZ Super Division to Green Buffaloes who beat them 2-0 in the last fixture.
Captain Ziyo Tembo, Enerst Mbewe, Augustine Mulenga and Richard Kasonde will be key for Sensational Zanaco in this must win game.
A win will propel Zanaco to 53 points and hope to consolidate second spot while at the same time trying to keep up with leaders Buffaloes who are away to Lumwana Radiants.
The match is expected to kick off at 15:00 hrs CAT
