CLARIFICATION: STATUS OF HEAD COACH STANLEY OKUMBI

PRESS STATEMENT

Several recent news reports imply that our Head Coach, Stanley Okumbi, has resigned.

I confirm for the record that Stanley has not submitted a letter of resignation. Moreover, Stanley confirmed to me that he doesn’t intend to do so.

Stanley and the rest of our technical bench and players remain committed to winning the remaining seven matches and are still aiming for at least a top 8 and preferably top 5 finish this year and to be contending for the KPL title next year.
