February 2015-Big Bullets begin CAF Champions league with a win.
Malawi TNM champions and the country’s sole representative Big Bullets started the CAF Campaign with a 3-2 aggregate win over Fomboni with the first leg winning 0-1 away, Kumwenda scoring the vital away win in the last minute then drawing the reverse fixture 2-2 in Blantyre.
April 2015-Chirambo death overshadows Big Bullets exit
Al Hilal knocked out Big Bullets out of the CAF Champions league just hours after the Malawian Champions defender Douglas Chirambo passed away.Chirambo died of brain tumour after a long illness. After a 1-1 draw at home, Bullets lost 4-0 away to lose 5-1 on aggregate.
June 2015-Young Chimodzi fired, Mtawali takes over
After loss to Zimbabwe in the AFCON 2017 qualifier match, Football Association of Malawi resolved not to renew the contract of coach Young Chimodzi and his deputy Jack Chamangwana.At an Emergency executive Committee meeting in Blantyre, FAM advised the government not renew Chimodzi’s contract upon expiry a month later. Ernest Mtawali was appointed care taker coach.

The Top tier management committee of the Malawi TNM Super league (SULOM)resolves to have 16 teams in the next season with its Vice President David Suleiman insisting that 3 teams will still go down .Meanwhile Big Bullets of Malawi beats Azam Tigers 2-1 to seal their 13th title with Jafali chande scoring a second half brace.
November 2015-Malawi Uproar as government intends to employ Civo United.
The government of Malawi’s decision to have all Civo United players employed in the civil service was received with a lot of uproar after Civo’s win over Mighty Wanderers in the Standard Bank Knockout Cup final in Lilongwe.
The same November saw Civo United ends Big Bullets unbeaten run.
December 2015
Drug fight Malawi condemned for standing against Big Bullets sponsorship-A youth nongovernmental organization in the country accuses Dug Fight Malawi for their continued criticism of the deal signed between Big Bullets and Nyasa Manufacturing Company saying they went overboard to engage the media.
December 2015-Simplex Nthala, 3 others arrested for starting a fight in a Bar.
Malawi National Team goalkeeper Simplex Nthala and brother Lenani together with Harvey Nkacha plus Blue Eagles Schumacher Kuwali arrested by Police in Lilongwe after they had spilled a fight at a night club where they resisted arrest after their colleague Kuwali was wrapped up by police unknown reasons. The two were in Ethiopia during the Cecafa Tournament.
The same month saw the Malawi Government finalizes a world class 60,000 seater capacity stadium construction in Lilongwe. The Bingu National Stadium contractor informed the government that the stadium is complete and it’s handed over to Youth and Culture Minister Grace Obama Chiuma.
Other December highlights saw FAM Presidential hopefuls Yabwanya & Wilkins Mijiga withdraw from the FAM race as Dwangwa United and Max Bullets gets the first two tickets to join the Malawi top tier.
The same December saw Football Association of Malawi unveil a new Commercial Director former Malawi Broadcasting Cooperation Marketing Manager Limbani Matola.He replaced Dan Tambal who was relieved of his duties.
The latest Soccer highlights the FAM Elections where Walter Nyamilandu was declared the winner of the controversial Football Association of Malawi that was faced with withdrawals of prime candidates at the eleventh hour.
The 2015 Football Association of Malawi AGM that took place at the Nkopola lodge saw Candidates for the top seat Willy Yabwanya and his compatriot Wilkins Mijiga withdraw saying they cannot be part and parcel of illegal proceedings.
“Yes we have withdrawn from the polls, article 22 was floated and despite a court injunction, the electoral committee defied orders from the appeals committee and went further to conduct the elections.
Nyamilandu won the polls gannerring a massive 27 votes against 7 for Mijiga and 2 for Yabwanya.
