Kenya’s representatives to the CAF Champions League Gor Mahia are out of this year’s edition, after a 3-1 aggregate loss to Madagascar’s CNAPS.
K’Ogalo went down 1-0 away to CNAPS at Stade Rabemananjara, Mahajanga in the reverse tie of the preliminaries played on Saturday 27 afternoon – the 15-time Kenyan champions lost the first leg 2-1 last week in Nairobi, handing a huge advantage to the Islanders, who made the most out of it.
The lone goal was scored in the 28th minute by Njiva Rakotoharimalala .
Frank Nuttall’s side eliminated CNAPS at the same stage last year on goal difference, a feat the Madagascar champions have managed to reverse in 2016, in a better fashion.
