Congo’s coach Claude le Roy warns Ethiopia Walia Ibex ahead of World Cup Qualifier

Congo Brazaville’s coach Claude Le Roy also refered to as the “The white Witchdoctor” has warned Ethiopia Walia Ibex they should expect a tough game when they clash on Saturday in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The last time the two sides met was in 2014 CHAN when Congo claimed their first points of the Orange African Nations Championship with a 1 -0 win over Ethiopia in a group C match . A second half strike from Rudy Ndey who is currently nursing serious injuries after a near fatal injury playing against Zamalek condemned a wasteful Ethiopia to defeat and virtual exit from CHAN 2014.

Congo Brazaville are ranked 61 places above Ethiopia at 53^rd Worldwide and 8^th in Africa while Ethiopia are ranked 114^th Worldwide.

“Ethiopia are a good side but we intend to give them a football lesson as the World Cup qualifier is a very important match for us considering we are starting the first leg away from home.We know football dynamics have changed but we want nothing short of a win then we finish off the job in Brazaville”Claude Le Roy told soka25east.com
