COSAFA 2019: Chiyangi declares Chipolopolo ready for Flames

Chipolopolo stand-in coach Aggrey Chiyangi says his charges have settled well in Durban ahead of Sunday’s quarterfinal clash against Malawi at the on-going Cosafa championship.

Speaking after a morning work-out at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, Chiyangi said the team will prepare well for the Flames clash.

“I think the team has prepared very well, even their attitude in training has been very positive,” he said.
He said that Zambia had watched Malawi’s game against Mozambique and had gotten insights before their clash on Sunday.

“Yesterday (Thursday) we watched Malawi play, but the game that they played will be different from the one we will play against them. What is important is we picked one or two points. We will plan for them,” Chiyangi said.
The 2018 Zambian Coach of the Year said that the team had no injury concerns except Zesco United forward Lazarous Kambole who had just shaken off a knock.
Zambia is holed up at Tsogo Sun Marine Parade in Durban.
