The Council of Southern African Football Associations Women’s Championship (COSAFA Women) is scheduled to take place between October 19-31 in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa.
This is after the COSAFA Executive Committee approved its go ahead subject to the prevailing COVID-19 conditions across the region.
Also, the committee announced it has plans to kick start a regional Women’s Champions League. It hopes the new competition will be played for the first time in 2021, subject to funds being sourced to support this competition.
The COSAFA Women’s Under-17 Championship pencilled for October 15-25 will go on whilst the Under-20 Women’s Championship planned for Maseru in December was postponed to December 2021.
