Malawi national team The Flames arrived safely in Johannesburg, after jetting out earlier today for the South Africa capital.
The team has earlier departed at the Chileka International Airport at 0940hrs ahead of their 2017 Cosafa Castle Cup Competition scheduled to kickoff on Saturday in South Africa.
The Flames squad that will do the duty to bring the trophy home is made of home-based players after the coaches omitted foreign based players who were in the camp before Comoros game.
Suprise inclusions included Dennis Chembezi and Ian Chiyama to fill void left by Yamikani Fodya who did not make it for the trip.
Be Forward Wanderers have the biggest chunk in the team.They have a total of five while Dilver Strikers,Bullets and Wizard have four players each.
Malawi are placed in Group A alongside Tanzania,Angola and Mauritius .Their opening matvh is on 25th June aganist Tanzania.
