Zimbabwe twice came from behind to force a 2-2 draw against Swaziland in the Cosafa Cup at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia on Saturday.
Striker Felix Badenhorst was the hero for Swaziland, scoring two goals to show why he is so highly rated and on the radar of South Africa club Kaizer Chiefs.
Badenhorst opened the scoring in the 17th minute when he headed past Zimbabwe goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva after superbly timed run into the penalty area.
The teams went into the halftime break with Swaziland still holding their slim advantage but Obadiah Tarumbwa drew the scores level with a header of his own after 56 minutes.
Just after the hour mark Zimbabwe’s Danny Phiri handled the ball inside his own 18-yard area and Badenhorst converted the spot kick to put Swaziland back in front.
However, the Warriors showed tremendous character to fight their way back into the game for a second time as Ronald Pfumbidzai equalised with 12 remaining.
Both teams pushed for the winner but in the end the game finished in an exciting draw.
