The Uganda national football team, who still are the best East Africa football team, remain 78th on the list with 435 points.
Kenya (105), Rwanda (112) and Ethiopia (137) are the best CECAFA region teams in the rankings after Uganda.
Sebastien Desabre’s team are scheduled to face Malawi on March 23 and a yet-to-be-named team three days later as part of preparations for upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Top five in the rankings remained the same with World Cup holders Germany in top spot, followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
The next FIFA world rankings will be published on April 12, 2018.
FIFA rankings are based on the average number of points that a team accumulates over a four-year period. The ranking points in each match are determined by its result, its value and the relative strength of the opponent and their confederation. The system also has a yearly basis depreciation for the value of the matches.
