Free State Stars new signing Joseph Okumu has bid farewell to his former club Chemelil Sugar FC as he begins new life in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
In a personal message to the millers’ fraternity, “Crouch” expressed gratitude to his former teammates, technical staff and fans for the support accorded to him during his short stint with them.
He asked for prayers as he starts the new journey in his career.
The former Kakamega High School “Green Commandos” defender on Wednesday completed a dream move to the South African side after a week of successful trials.

I want to say a big thank you to the Chemelil Sugar fraternity. My gratitude goes to all the officials for accepting me and the coach for believing in me.
Thanks to all the players for the support because without you I could not have proven my worth. You supported me by encouraging and advising me on what to do. I appreciate all of you.
