CS Sfaxien will be aiming to book their spot in a fifth Caf Confederations Cup final in 13 years when they take on RS Berkane at Stade Municipal de Berkane on Sunday.
The Tunisian club take a 2-0 aggregate advantage into the tie with goals from Alaeddine Marzouki and Hamza Mathlouthi leading Juventus of the Arabs to victory in Sfax last weekend.
Sfaxien are three time (2007, 2008, 2013) champions of the competition, having also finished as runners-up in the 2010 showpiece.
In contrast, Berkane are aiming to become the fifth Moroccan club to play in Africa’s second-tier club cup competition final in the last 14 years with Raja Casablanca – last year’s champions – the most recent from the country to do so.
The Oranges will fancy their chances of coming up trumps on home soil, but will need a near perfect performance if they are to set up a final showdown against either Zamalek (Egypt) or Étoile du Sahel (Tunisia).
