Chipolopolo star Patson Daka was in top form as he bagged a hat-trick in Red Bull Salzburg’s 6-0 win against Hartberg on Sunday.
His compatriot Enock Mwepu also chipped in with a goal and an assist in the game.
Patson Daka has now scored 21 league goals in 23 appearances with 4 assists as he targets to get the golden boot.
Daka’s first goal came as early as the 4th minute after receiving a pass from Noah Okafor.
Three minutes later Mwepu doubled the lead before Daka made it three for his side after benefitting from a through-ball from Dominik Szoboszlai.
Five minutes before the half-time break Koita added to the woes of their hosts with a well-taken strike, off Andreas Ulmer’s assist.
In the 46th minute, Daka completed his hat-trick before Okafor sealed the rout moments before the end of the game.
Following the departure of Erling Halaand, there were questions as to who will take up the mantle. It seems the Zambian International is up for the challenge.
Daka could be the next big thing to come out of Red Bull Salzburg’s production line of future Stars.
