U-20 forward, Patson Daka said, the future of the Zambia national team lies in the hands of the Young Chipolopolo.
Daka, told soka25east.com that, its important for the Zambia U-20 set up to work extra hard now, because it will create an opportunity for them to be elevated into the senior Chipolopolo.
“The future of Chipolopolo depends on us and lies in our hands. If we don’t do well in the junior team, it will be difficult to have players to contribute in the senior team”
“It’s Important for us to work extra hard and to make sure that we get a chance to go into the senior team and make an impact”, said Daka.
The FC Liefering striker has played an integral part in the Young Chipolopolo as they qualified to the semifinals of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations–which also means automatic entry to the U-20 FIFA World Cup in South Korea.
Patson Daka, has netted 3 goals thus far at the tournament, same number as his teammate Fashion Sakala and only one behind the leading scorer–Amajita’s Luther Singh.
