Patson Daka continued his goal scoring form as Red Bull Salzburg conjured up another loud scoreline with a 1-5 win away at Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga on Wednesday night.
Daka straight from grabbing a hat-trick in the previous match against Hartberg found himself on the score sheet to send his league tally to 22 goals.
Hungarian, Dominik Szoboszlai’ brace put Salzburg two goals ahead in the first ten minutes with the home side pulling one back from Hierländer in the 16th minute.
In the 21st minute, the Zambian International made it 3-1. Patson Daka was placed perfectly to pounce for the third goal after Karim Adeyemi had rattled the crossbar.
Sturm Graz were reduced to 10 men, Spendlhofer was shown a straight red card for jumping in against Jerome Onguene, just 24 minutes in.
Dominik Szoboszlai completed his hat-trick in sensational style, skipping and twisting before drilling a shot right into the bottom left in the 43rd minute.
Daka was withdrawn at halftime after another wonderful contribution in the first half.
Hee Chan Hwang wrapped up the win in the 66th minute.
Daka’s compatriot who was also on the score sheet in the previous game against Hartberg came on at halftime to get a run.
Another Sturm Graz player, Donkor, saw red in the 71st minute but that did not take the gloss off another impressive performance by Daka and his Salzburg teammates.
