The Tanzania football Federation has named Kagera based top referee Jonesia Rukyaa also nicknamed iron lady to take charge of the second Dar es salaam derby pitting two of Tanzania’ biggest clubs Young Africans and Simba.
The two clubs are set to clash in their second derby of the Voda Com league this season on Saturday 20th February at the National Stadium in Dar es salaam. This is the second derby with Yanga having edged Simba 2-0 in the first derby during the first leg.
The ‘iron lady’ who is known for her strictness in observing the 17 laws of football will be assisted by Tanga based Joseph at Bulali and his Arusha counterpart Samuel Mpenzu. EASY sassii from Dar es salaam will be the fourth official while Khalid Viterbo from Mwanza will be the Match Commissioner.
Simba will want to revenge for the 2-0 loss in the first leg and are already camping in Morogoro for the top of the table clash,. yanga on the other side after a shock loss to coastal Union are in Pembe preparing for the derby.
Simba are currently top of the 16 team league with 45 points, two ahead of rivals Yanga and three ahead of another giant Azam, although both Yanga and Azam have matches at hand.
Meanwhile TFF has announced the gate charges of the match. The VIP will go for Tsh 30,000 while the terraces will be between Tsh 7000 for blue and green seats and Tsh 10,000 for Orange seats. The VIP A and B will be Tsh 20,000.
