Tanzania sports and Culture Minister Nape Moses Nauye is set to address a press conference anytime from now over the chaos that marred the derby match between rivals Simba and Yanga where seats at the magnificent stadium were vandalized .
He is expected to ban both Simba and Yanga from using the stadium for their league matches .
” I am meeting with reporters today where i will assess the damage that was caused by the derby match between Simba and Yanga yesterday at the National stadium ‘He said today morning
If the Government bans the two teams then they will look for an alternative ground considering the nearby Uhuru Stadium is under construction and according to TFF head of communications the tow clubs must look for an alternative ground to host league matches according to article 6 of the constitution.
Both teams have no stadium to host league matches and it will force them to hire grounds for their league matches.Available grounds in Dar es Salaam are the Chamazi Complex owned by Azam FC and a further Mabatini grounds in Mlandizi.
Some time back Yanga almost switched their CAF confederations match against M.O Bejiaia to CCM Kirumba in Mwanza and it could be an option to Yanga.
If the CCM Kirumba stadium wont be available for a future derby then the derby matches maybe switched to neighbouring Kenya or Uganda
