Madagascar’s Andriamirado Andrianarimanana has expressed optimism over his chances of taking to the pitch this season if the Absa Premiership season goes beyond May.
The PSL and SAFA suspended all football activities in the country due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
In a bleak situation, the Black Leopards midfielder known as ‘Dax’ sees it as an opportunity for him to play this season.
“I’m currently staying at home, training slow,” he told FARPost.
“Yes, boss after two months, finish the problem. Yes, I play (after two months). After two months I come back for playing, after two months. It’s Jesus who gave me this not corona, Jesus. Ja Jesus gave me.”
Andrianarimanana was handed a four month ban by FIFA in February 2020, following his move from Malagasy side, Fosa Juniors to Kaizer Chiefs.
The player is alleged to have signed for Chiefs while still contracted to Fosa Juniors back in 2018.
Amakhosi were banned from registering players in the next two transfer windows after Juniors appealed to FIFA.
