Hassania Agadir held defending Caf Confederations Cup champions Raja Casablanca to a 1-1 draw in a Group A clash at Stade Adrar in Agadir on Sunday evening.
The result leaves all four teams in the group level on a point apiece following AS Otôho and RS Berkane’s stalemate by the same scoreline in Owando earlier today.
Veteran forward Mouhssine Iajour fired the Green Eagles in front in the 54th minute of what was Patrice Carteron’s first game in charge of the 2018 CAFCC champions The striker building on the six goals he scored on the way to the title last season.
Raja, though, weren’t able to hold onto there lead as Mehdi Oubilla pulled the two teams level nine minutes later.
Both teams pushed forward in search of what would’ve been a decisive goal, but it was not to be as the Moroccan rivals ultimately shared the spoils.
