The Algeria national football team Desert Foxes reported to camp on Sunday 6 November ahead of the upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria on Saturday.
According to information released by Algeria Football Federation portal, a number of locally based players reported to the camp at National Techinical Centre Sidi Moussa yesterday.They immediately started training under observation of new coach George Leekens on a two training seasons in a day.
Meanwhile, Leekens is sweating on the fitness of three key players before the important match.The injured are Tahart, Ghezzal and Hilal Soudani, who suffered an ankle injury while playing for Dinamo Zagreb against NK Split and had to be substituted.
Algeria are expected to travel in a chartered plane on Thursday afternoon and will leave for Algiers immediately after the Saturday match which will be played at Godswil Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
The Super Eagles lead the group on 3 points, with Desert Foxes trailing in joint second with one point after the opening round of matches.
