Bidvest Wits forward Elias Domingues Pelembe will lead Mozambique Mambas during Saturday’s international friendly against the Harambee Stars, at Safaricom Stadium,Nairobi.
The 31 year-old was part of the Mozambique contigent that set foot in the country on Wednesday evening.
The Mozambique team is expected to have two training sessions one this Thursday and another on Friday before Saturday’s clash.
Mozambique have also another friendly against South Africa in Maputo, scheduled for Tuesday.
In the statement made to the press in Maputo, the Mambas coach Alex Xavier said that with these friendlies he wants to create cohension and gel the squad to make the team stronger before AFCON 2019 qualifier matches.
