Cape Town City have bolstered their attacking department with the purchase of Ghanaian striker Prince Opoku Agyemang.
The lanky forward has joined the Citizens form Medeama SC on a one-year deal with an option to extend by a further 3 years after successfully undergoing a medical check-up.
The deal is believed to be in a region of $35,000.
A tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle on Thursday read: “Cape Town City is delighted to announce the acquisition of Ghanaian international striker Prince Opoku Agyemang.”
It added:”City and Medeama SC have reached a transfer agreement for an initial 1-year deal with the option to extend to June 2024.”
Agyemang found the net 11 times in 14 games for the Tarkwa-based side in the truncated 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
The 28 year-old was part of the Black Stars B Team that finished second at the 2019 Wafu tournament in Senegal.
In the past, he played for lower-tier side, New Edubiase United.
