Dar es Salaam giants Young Africans have agreed to have want away head coach Hans Pluijm as the Technical Director with immediate former Zesco coach George Lwandamina as the Head Coach.
This arrangement was agreed upon yesterday after Lwandamina said he would work with the Dutch and that his coming should not be the reason for him leaving
Pluijm’s assignment will be to take care of both the senior and junior team and to matters transfers while Lwandamina will be responsible for the senior team and will be accountable for the teams performance.It is however tricky to note if Lwandamina will work in harmony with Pluijm who he will be responsible
Lwandamina already has viewed seven videos of Yanga playing against other VPL teams and has instructed the team Manager to warn the players that he will be very strict on coming up with his team for the second leg
He will be assisted by fellow Zambian Noel Mwandila however with Pluijm set to meet Lwandamina on the issues of the comoposition of the technical bench,then the former assistant Juma Mwambusi who led the team to a 4-0 crushing of JKT Ruvu could be co opted back as he still has a running contract.
Already the team is set to resume training on 28th November and Coach George lwandamina is preparing his programme and also on the players to sign and those to be dropped .
This is the second time Pluijm is persuaded back at Yanga ,the first was in 2014 when he left and his fellow Dutch Ernie Brandits came as he went to Al Shoalah of Saudi Arabia before returning to take over from Brazilian Maximo.
