DRC winger Paul Jose Mpoku has lamented poor training pitch at the Kenya Monetary Studies grounds in Nairobi.

The Leopards are putting up at the Thika Road facility ahead of their Sunday friendly against the hosts “Harambee Stars” at the Machakos Stadium.

In a short clip posted online, the 24-year-old Panathinaikos man exposes the deplorable conditions with a caption “this is the training pitch, thanks God I’m not training.”

Poor pitch conditions are known to cause serious injuries like twisted ankles or knees.

DRC will be facing the East Africans in less than a year. The two locked horns in Kinshasa last year with Kenya emerging 1-0 winners through Michael Olunga’s strike.

Before the Sunday’s clash Kenya will play neighbors Uganda in another warm-up tomorrow.
