Following shock elimination from a lowly Group of Copa America that included minnows Haiti and Peru, Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) through their President Marco Polo Del Nero have henceforth disbanded the National team technical bench.
Coach Dunga and his technical committee were dismissed on Tuesday afternoon with 55 year old Corinthians coach Tite who guided Sao Paulo to last year’s Brazilian Series A set to replace him.
Those sent packing alongside Dunga are Gilmar Rinaldi together with his backroom staff.
The announcement came two days after Brazil’s 1-0 loss to Peru in Foxborough effectively eliminating them.
