By Fredrick Nadulli,
Troubled giants AFC Leopards have settled on Dutchman Henrik Pieter de Jongh as their new head coach. The Dutchman takes over the hot seat from James Nandwa who was shown the door after a series of poor and inconsistent perfomances.
Assistant Abdalla Juma has been presiding in an acting capacity.Several tacticians had been linked to the vacant post,Trevor Morgan the likeliest to assume the reins before he opted out under unclear circumstances.
De Jong’s first assignment will be at the Cecafa Nile Basin tourney in Sudan, far from the prying eyes of their demanding faithful.
