Gor Mahia coach Dylan has pledged his future at the club saying his focus is on building a team for the African Champions League next year.

Kerr was talking after bagging the September coach of the month award Thursday.

“I’m not going anywhere,” the Englishman reiterated – clearing rumors of his interest in the Harambee Stars job.

He added: “I have a commitment to Gor Mahia and my focus in on the team for next year’s CAF Champions League and another premier league medal.”

K’Ogalo will represent the country in the Africa’s premium club championship by virtue of winning the 2017 Kenyan Premier League.

On the road to the record 16th title, Kerr guided his charges to five victories in September to emerge the top performer of the month.

They beat Bandari 3-1, Sofapaka 2-1, Tusker 2-0, Chemelil 3-0 and Nzoia Sugar 4-0 with the barren draw coming against Thika United.

His closest challenger was Kakamega Homeboyz’s Mike Mururi.

Gor will be crowned champions Saturday in Kisumu in the final round of the league against Sony Sugar and Kerr has vowed to finish on a high.

“Our last game should be thrilling and we have worked on it without any complacency of having won the title,”

“We want to play well and win for our fans. That way lifting the title feels good. Losing a match then walking to collect winners’ medals does not feel right so we have to win that game.”

Kerr had Gor’s logo tattooed on his foot to mark the league win.
