Zanaco’s 7 match winning streak came to an end as Power Dynamos secured a precious 2-1 victory in a FAZ Super League match played at Arthur Davis Stadium on Saturday 6 August 2016.
Dynamos opened the scoring in the 12th minute thanks to veteran winger Fwayo Tembo’s cool finish.
Fashion Sakala leveled matters in the 34th minute but Patson restored Dynamos’ lead after halftime, Fwayo with the assist.
Zanaco’s defeat was celebrated more by Nkana who were in Kabwe to also end Warriors’ home record.
Jacob Ngulube’s 10th minute goal was enough to propell Nkana to 41 points, 8 behind leaders Zanaco who remain stuck on 49 points.
