The East Africans plying their trade outside the EAC bloc registered different reults with their clubs as various league matches took centre stage in the midweek of Tuesday and Wednesday.
South Africa
In the PSL Burundian danger man formely of Sofapaka Fiston Abdoulrazak was on fire helping his new team Bidvest Wits secure a 1-1 draw against Supersport United,Razak’s 38th minute opener was cancelled by Luvoluethu Mpeta in the 64th minute.
Still in the PSL,Ugandan duo of Yassan Mugerwa and Godfrey Massa both playing for Orlando Pirates and University of Pretoria respectively were missing in the midweek league action.Massa was missing in the Amatuk’s 2-2 draw with Free State Stars while Yassa missed Pirates 2-1 win over Ajax Cape Town.

Kenya trio of David Odhiambo,Jesse Were and Antony Agay were victors as their team Zesco United hit Zimbabwean Chicken Inn 2-0 in the play off match of the four nation tournament finishing third after winners Azam and Zanaco.
Were scored a minute after resumption with Congoles Idriss Mombo scoring the first goal.this was Were’s seventh goal for Zesco United who are preparing for the CAF Champions league.

Another Kenyan ayub Masika did not feature for his club Lierse as they went down 3-0 away at Union St Gilloise dropping further to the relegation zone.
Turkey
And in Turkey Kenya’s youngster Alwyn Chambi Tera featured for his Georgian club FC Saburtalo in a 3 – 4 loss to Romanian side FC Voluntari.This was a friendly match played on Wednesday 3 February in Antalya, Turkey.
Saburtalo scored their goals through Khorkhelma George Irakli and and Rukhadze Pantsulaia with the first half ending 3 – 1 in favour of Saburtalo.The team went on to concede three goals in the second half to lose 3-4
