The Pharaohs of Egypt have lined up an international friendly against the Flames of Malawi before their last clash of the African cup of Nations away at Tanzania.
The match is scheduled for 30th April but the venue of the encounter is yet to be determined although both the Malawian FA and the Egyptian FA are yet to confirm the encounter which is in the FIFA schedule of international Friendlies.
The last time the two teams met was in 2008 Nations Cup qualifiers when the Flames made history by beating the Egyptians 1-0 in Blantyre courtesy of a chiukepo Msowoya injury time goal.
Malawi are in the race for the 2017 Gabon African cup of Nations qualifiers although they have a slim chance of progression with Egypt needing only a draw in Dar es Salaam to sail through.
