El Merreikh draw with Ababa City ahead of St. George friendly.

Sudanese Giants El Merreikh who have been in Addis, Ethiopia since last week at the invitation of St. George and as part of pre-season training program, yesterday, Tuesday 6, settled for a barren draw with Higher Division side Ababa City.

The friendly match was staged at the Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis.

Luc Eymael’s side will on Sunday 10 play Ethiopia league champions St. George FC as they mark 80th anniversary since formation.

St. George will again play Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia next week on Thursday 14.
