South Sudanese Premier League Side El-Salam have been crowned champions of the 2017 league after earning a gruelling 2:1 victory over Kator FC in a match played at the Wau Stadium in Juba.
El-Salam Wau who had earlier won the 2017 South Sudan Cup found themselves in the receiving end when Lumuro opened the scoring in the first half but they rallied to score the equalizer courtesy of a Salah Abobakar spot kick before Sami Abosaed completed the comeback to seal the victory for the hosts.

The 2017 champions who were officially handed the trophy by the South Sudan Football Association President Francis Amin and Wau Local Association President Saad Akasha ,will now represent South Sudan in the continental club competition, CAF Champions League next year.
