Emmanuel Eli Keke says, he is upbeat about the prospects of playing and improving on his performance in the upcoming Icelandic first division league.
Eli Keke enjoyed a terrific debut season in the league, which culminated him an award ( Player of the season) at the club’s end of the season award.
The Ghanaian featured prominently for the Olafsvik-based outfit and he is already looking up to the new campaign which start in May.
He made 23 appearances across all competition last term scoring 3 goals.
The 23-year-old midfielder in an exclusive chat with Soka25.east.com said, “I am looking forward to a much improved performance in the season ahead, therefore i am working towards it.”
Vikingur Olafsvik finished 4th with 42 points from 22 games last season.
Asked if he has set any target for the new season, the former Mighty Jet man said, “My set target is to help my club improve on its position from last season and also hoping to secure a move elsewhere if there is an offer.”

In September, 2018, FIFA in consultation with Ghana’s Government put up an interim body, Normalisation Committee to sanitize and reform the country’s football.
Giving his thoughts on the Normalisation Committee, Eli Keke said, “I haven’t been following with rapt attention, but I know opinions of pundits are divided as far as their performance is concerned.”
Eli Keke joined the Icelandic lower-tier side Vikingur Olafsvik last season from Ghanaian topflight side, Dreams Football Club.
