Zanaco head to the other side of Great east road this afternoon looking to go top of the Zambia super league in this week 15 rescheduled fixture.

This is no longer an ordinary fixture but could actually turn out to be a title turning fixture. Lusaka Dynamos is no longer that team you count points before playing and Zanaco will be well aware about that!
Comments running through social media suggest this is turning to be the biggest derby in Lusaka.
Should Lusaka Dynamos fail to score , it will be the eighth game this season were they have failed to hit the net.
A Zanaco victory would be their 12th this season one less than Zesco United but that alone will be enough to go top, same points with Zesco United but with a superior goal difference .
Lusaka Dynamos have lost their last two matches and will be desperately looking for a better response but they have to do it against a team that has just lost once this season and that was away in Choma on the second week of the season.

Zanaco are unbeaten against Lusaka Dynamos in nine Super League matches and the last time Lusaka Dynamos beat ZANACO was in 2008 in May and Hichani Himonda scored for Lusaka Dynamos in a 1-0 victory.
ZANACO though needs to start converting draws into wins having accumulated 10 already this season, one more than Lusaka Dynamos who have 9.
Last weekend a less common situation applied: Zanaco trailed 0-1, before the comeback and a sensational end to the game to beat Nchanga Rangers 2-1 ! That’s the sensational their fans are used to but this one will be a call too close.
Going into this – Lusaka top-flight derby – Numba knows only a win is enough to leapfrog Zesco United at the top and he will go for that but if he is to be given a draw before kick off, he would take it.
For Patrick Phiri, pressure is mounting having been ejected from the top four with the two losses in their last two games , he wouldn’t want to go three in a row. A win will relegate ZANACO from the top four and them get into the most wanted top four this season.

Am going for a Lusaka Dynamos victory who have been very good against top teams this season and they just know how to turn up against big teams and I just think ZANACO is another victim in waiting!
