Rayon Sports full back Emmanuel Imanishimiwe could soon find himself out of football if found guilty of signing for three different clubs.
In a span of three days, the budding defender has been confirmed to sign two seperate deals with both Peace Cup champions Rayon Sports and league champions APR FC in the Azam Rwanda Premier League.
These besides signing a two year contract with former Kenyan Premier League champions AFC Leopards on June 13.
On Wednesday he committed his future to Rayon, signing a 2-year contract renewal for $5000 as was revealed on Twitter by the Secretary General Olivier Gakwaya; however the player disputes this.
A day later he signed another two year deal with reigning champions APR FC for $10,000 and a salary of $620 per month which he acknowledges.
Rayon has since reported him to FERWAFA with Leopards’ Mr. Asava Kadima not ruling out taking the issue to FIFA.
If guilty as charged at the Rwandan FA, Imanishimiwe could be suspended for up to two years.
“We have not decided on the issue, but clearly it’s a legal matter. The agent of the boy seems to be misleading him, because the boy is our player. We will continue talking to him before we take the next step.” Mr. Kadima told Soka25east.com.
The player’s status was categorised under failed transfers by Football Kenya Federation ( FKF ) in the June transfer window.
