Ugandan international Emmanuel Okwi has parted ways with his Danish top tier side Sonderjyske Fodbold after the both sides agreed on mutual consent to terminate his contract.
According to the clubs Sports Chief Jorgen Haysen the decision was reached after the 24 year old failed to get regular play time
“Okwi has not received much playing time with us, and the prospect of more playing time has not improved. Therefore we are after mutual agreement have agreed to go our separate ways. I wish him well in the future,”
The club had signed the 24 year old in July 2015 on a 5 year deal that was meant to see him play for the club until 2020 from Tanzanian league giants Simba SC .
Okwi has previously played for SC Villa , Etoile de Sahel and Yanga.
