Tunis Esperance made up for their last weekend’s 3-0 loss to Etoile du Sahel by beating CS Sfaxien 2-1 at home today.
The hosts took the lead three minutes into the game through Chamseddine Dhaouadi before Ali Maaloul leveled the scores from the spot six minutes later.
Fekhredine ben Youssef haunted his former side CS Sfaxien after scoring the winning goal for Esperance in the second half.
Youssef signed for a French side Metz from Sfaxien before returning back to Tunisia to join Esperance.
2015 CAF Confederation Cup winners Etoile du Sahel are on top of the Tunisia league 1 table with 34 points.Eseperance are second with a point behind log leaders.CS Sfaxien occupies third position on 28 points with Metlaoui and CA Berzetin completing the top 5 on 20 points each.
