The Ethiopia Football Federation (EFF) has advertised the national team coaching job as they look for a replacement for Gebremedhin Haile, an official source revealed on Tuesday.
The EFF will give candidates ten days to put their names forward before a selection panel puts a five-man shortlist to the federation’s executive committee to decide on who the chosen coach will be.
Haile left the Walias after registering a series of poor results which allowed the EFF to terminate his contract .
Some of the criterias that the federation has put for potential candidates is that they must be currently holding a position as a head coach of
a given football team.
Applicants are also needed to have a minimum of five years experience as well as have certain career winning percentage and preferably be Ethiopian citizens.
Ethiopia are due to begin their campaign to qualify for the 2019 Cup of Nations against SierraLeone in early June.
They were drawn in qualifying Group F alongside their East African neighbour Kenya,Sierra Leone and Ghana
