Ethiopia Walia Ibex Head Coach Yohannes Sahle has explained the absence of 3 players from the national team’s training camp in Barhir Dar after a section of the media reported that the trio had been axed.
Speaking exclusively to Soka25east.com Sahle sort to clarify the issue on the three players intimating that they had not been axed from the team as reported.
“Ramkel Lok,Salahdin Bargecho and Natnael Zeleke were not axed from the team.They got permission to travel back to Addis Ababa to the Portugal embassy so as to apply for Visa’s to enable them travel to Portugal for trials”
“As a coach we are happy for the development of our players and when they get such opportunities i am more that willing to release them to pursue them before coming back.The technical bench is well aware about the whereabouts and there is not reason to panic”Sahle told Soka25east.com
Striker Ramkel Lok,Defender Salhadin Bargecho and midfielder Natnael Zeleke have been invited for trials in Portugal in undisclosed clubs.
The trio impressed former coach Mariano Barreto who used his contacts to get them the trial having been key players in his squad before he was replaced by Yohannes Sahle.
