The lowest moment for any footballer is when his contract his abruptly cancelled and being dropped from the National team.
One such player Abebaw Butako also known as Abe by his friends and peers have suffered the same fate in 2015 first having his contract cancelled by Sudanese giants Al Hilal followed by losing his place in the Ethiopia Walia Ibex team where he had been instrumental playing in the 2013 Afcon,2014 Chan and World Cup 2014 play offs.
However not all is doom and gloom for Abebaw who is set to become the highest paid player in the Ethiopian premier league when he joins his home team Arbaminch Kenema for the 2015/2016 season.
Arbaminch are set to pay the natural left back a whooping 75,000 Birr or equivalent of 4000 US Dollars per month not little money according to Ethiopian standards.
However Abebaw has said his motivation is not the money but to rebuild his career as he spoke to Soka25east.com
“I want to rediscover my form and I think moving to Arbaminch will provide for the great atmosphere.I am not thinking about the money but football because I still believe I have alot to offer in the beautiful game”
“As a footballer you have to go through ups and downs but that is part of the game the only important thing is how you pick yourself back up”Abebaw told Soka25east.com.
Abebaw Butako played for giants St.George before getting the lucrative deal to move to Sudan but things did not work as expected.
