Ethiopian exciting midfilder Shemeles Bekele played his first game for his new Egyptian side Petrojet in their 2-1 loss to Ismaily in the Egyptian premier league.
Shemeles who recently signed for the Egyptian side showed glimpses of his midfield mastery in a game that propelled him as a starting option for the team.

Petrojet broke the deadlock in the 24th minute when Mohamed Shaarawi put them ahead but Ismaily defender Shawqui El Said and Ghanaian import John Antwi scored late goals to deny Petrojet the win.

The loss pushed Petrojet l to 18th place in the Egyptian League log table as they struggle after World football governing body FIFA stripped six points from the coastal side who failed pay former team striker John Owoeri his dues.
