Ethiopian international Omued Okuri has joined Egyptian Premier League side Smouha from El-Entag El Harby on three-year deal.

Smouha becomes Okuri’s fourth club in the Egypt’s topflight since 20014.

Okuri’s journey in the North African football powerhouse started after leaving St. George for Al-Ittihad Alexandria in 2014 on a three-year contract, however, he only lasted a year before joining ENNPI in 2015.

Limited playing time made him ditch ENNPI for military side El-Entag El Harby in 2016 where he rediscovered his red hot form – banging in eleven goals in the his one season stay.

Okuri’s eleven goals made him the fourth best scorer in the league – earning him numerous suitors including giants Zamalek.

Nonetheless, Smouha, who were trailing him throughout the second leg of the season, landed his sign.

“I have started training with my new club Smouha and I am happy to be back in Alexandria,” Okuri told Soka25east.
